# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • It looks impressive but requires almost no actual effort, just good timing.
  • The cranberries burst in the oven and stain everything this gorgeous ruby color.
  • You get creamy, tangy, sweet, and savory all in one bite without any cream or butter.
  • It works as a weeknight dinner or something you can proudly serve to guests.
02 -
  • Don't use pre-crumbled feta, it won't soften the same way and tends to dry out in the oven.
  • If your cranberries aren't bursting after 30 minutes, give them a gentle press with the back of a spoon.
  • The honey goes in at the end, not before baking, or it'll burn and taste bitter.
03 -
  • Use a ceramic or glass baking dish, metal can react with the cranberries and make things taste metallic.
  • If you like it extra creamy, add a splash of heavy cream or pasta water when you toss everything together.
  • Fresh cranberries freeze beautifully, so grab extra bags in season and you can make this year-round.
